The place of employment is at the University of Kassel and University of Guadalajara (Mexico).
Tasks:
- Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project
- Support in the coordination of the Laboratorio de Conocimiento "Confronting Inequalities in Latin America: Perspectives on Wealth and Power" of CALAS in Guadalajara
- Coordination, organization and accounting of the program, meetings, conferences and international symposia
- Preparation of research reports for a specialized audience, support in the production of the scientific results of the Laboratorio
- Presentation of the research line to partners and other research institutions
- Implementation and supervision of internal communication structures
- Operational and scientific support for fellows during their research stays in Guadalajara
Requirements:
- Completed academic degree in social sciences or humanities with a regional focus on Latin America (Master, M.A., M.Sc.). The required degree must be available by the date of recruitment at the latest.
- Academic qualifications (e.g. doctorate) in social sciences or humanities, preferably in topics related to social inequality, prosperity and elites in Latin America
