Tasks:

  • Independently represent the University's interests to planning stakeholders during planning processes and approval procedures.
  • Independently perform the construction representative function for assigned projects.
  • Conduct planning negotiations on qualitative user requirements of the University. Coordination, review, management and control of user interests and independent approval of planning and implementation details from an economic, planning, architectural, functional and constructional point of view.
  • Independent development of strategies and planning concepts for further university expansion as well as coordination with the involved parties

Requirements:

  • Completed university studies (Bachelor/FH or Diplom I) in the field of architecture 
  • Professional experience in the performance of the function of construction supervisor and the associated project management of construction measures (university construction, or similar)
  • Several years of experience in leading planning negotiations of demanding construction measures, preferably in university construction
  • Relevant experience in designing and implementing space programs and utilization plans on the basis of guideline space values as well as designing space optimization concepts
  • Several years of professional experience in the course of new buildings, modernization, refurbishment and conversion projects as well as project coordination.
  • Relevant experience in quality, schedule and cost control of extensive construction projects, preferably in the higher education sector
