School, Law & Science - Three Perspectives on Structural Racism in the Police (Hochschultour Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte)

An event organized by the Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF) in cooperation with the Kassel Institute for Sustainability and UNI:Lokal as part of the GFF University Tour.

On June 13, the Gesellschaft für Freiheitsrechte (GFF) is coming to UNI:lokal in Kassel! GFF lawyer Laura Kuttler will speak with Bahar Aslan, teacher and GFF plaintiff, and Laila Abdul-Rahman, lawyer and criminologist in the project "Assault in office by police officers" at the University of Frankfurt. The panel will discuss structural racism in the police force and the possibilities and limits of criticism and (legal) reforms. The event will take place from 19:00 at UNI:lokal and is open to the public.
