Around 22,000 students at the University of Kassel

In the current winter semester, exactly 21,898 people are enrolled at the University of Kassel. This is shown by the so-called cut-off date figures, which are now available.

According to these figures, 4,416 of them are enrolled in their first semester, colloquially referred to as "freshmen". The number of international students is 3,034.

4,666 students, i.e. more than a fifth, are enrolled on a teacher training course. 10,106 people are studying for a Bachelor's degree, while 4,570 are studying for a Master's degree. The rest are studying for other types of degree such as diplomas or doctorates.
