A semester abroad in Switzerland (Swiss European Mobility Programme – SEMP)

After its exclusion from the Erasmus Programme Switzerland has established its own funding programme. Semesters abroad in Switzerland can be funded financially by the so called Swiss European Mobility Programme. The available partner universities can be found in our database.

The application takes place analogously to the application for the Erasmus Programme.

Most important difference to the Erasmus Programme

Students of the University of Kassel who have successfully applied for a stay in Switzerland will receive the financial grant directly from their Swiss guest university. You are able to find information on the scholarship and the application on the website of the respective university. The grant is currently about 420 CHF (approx. 370 €) per month.
