If you have written a cumulative dissertation, a declaration of your own contribution to the scientific writings published or intended for publication within the dissertation has to be submitted with the application to initiate the main procedure. On this page you will find the required template for each faculty. Please note, the templates are currently only available in German language.
All doctoral candidates at the University of Kassel conclude an agreement with their supervisor, the so-called supervision agenda.
This helps to harmonise mutual expectations of the doctoral doctoral phase and to plan various aspects - such as conference
conference participation, publication strategies - at an early stage. The completion of the supervision agenda is mandatory for acceptance as a doctoral candidate. Updating the supervision agenda on an annual basis is strongly recommended and is a prerequisite for contract extensions in the qualification phase.
