In focus: A special feature is the master's specialization in urban design from landscape architecture and landscape planning. Together with master students from architecture and urban and regional planning, interdisciplinary teams develop skills for in-depth spatial analysis and the development of urban design competence.

Specific learning objectives:

• Design competence in the field of new planning, renewal and addition of built-spatial structures, reflection in the discourse of urban planning theories and models.

The master's degree in urban design (ST) aims to develop skills for in-depth spatial analysis and the development of urban design competence, taking into account architectural, urban planning and landscape architecture/open space planning issues. It is carried out jointly by all three disciplines of the department. The module structure is such that an in-depth seminar preparing the profile project, which takes place in the winter semester, can be taken in the summer semester.
