How long does the range of e-cars have to be? How much horsepower (or kW, torque?) is required? How many wallboxes can the power supply handle? 11kW or 22kW? Almost everyone knows all these questions (and often the answers too) - but very few people know that for almost 40 years, electromobility has also been significantly shaped by North Hesse. Roland Gaber (electric car pioneer) will talk about various examples that he has been involved in since the mid-1980s. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussions.

An event accompanying the exhibition "Herkules Racing Team | E-Racing Cars from the University of Kassel"

The exhibition presents one of the most exciting projects at the University of Kassel: the students of the Herkules Racing Team are building real racing cars for real competitions. They compete against teams from other universities in the Formula Student, an international design competition. At UNI:Lokal, you will learn that there is much more to it than fast laps and quick pit stops.

Highlights of the exhibition are three racing cars from previous seasons. Both car connoisseurs and laymen will find lots of interesting information. Test your driving skills in a vehicle simulator and achieve fast lap times! A Carrera track also invites you to join in and experience the speed.
