Referent (EG 13 TV-H) - at the Center for Teacher Training - as part of the pilot project for practical semesters

Full-time, to provide administrative support for the practical semester pilot project for teacher training courses at the University of Kassel;

The employment is for the replacement of an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until November 4, 2018 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought. The position is generally divisible.

Tasks:

The practical semester pilot project for teacher training courses is financially supported by the state of Hesse. The approved funds are used to finance individual university projects.

The following tasks in particular are associated with the position:

• Regular administration and presentation of the corresponding funding requirements in the responsible departments and subject areas of the University of Kassel according to uniform criteria and representation to the responsible ministry.
• Ongoing retrieval and documentation of the activities and use of the approved funds in the individual projects.
• Organizational and coordinating tasks with the institutions and persons involved in the internship semester as well as the organization and documentation of meetings and other events in connection with the internship semester.

Prerequisites:

• A university degree is required (preferably in teaching, economics, law or administrative sciences)
• Open-mindedness for the coordination and supervision of challenging conceptual projects in various subjects
• Organizational and analytical skills as well as the ability to work independently and goal-oriented in a complex environment and as part of a team
• Experience with relevant administrative work and comprehensive knowledge of commercial accounting are desirable
