Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the Department of Political System of the FRG - Statehood in Transition

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

We are looking for a social scientist with a focus on political science and a special research interest in the field of digitalization and its effects on the welfare state, interest groups, the economy or industrial relations.

Tasks:

• Services for internal and external activities of the department, research and teaching
• In particular, support for activities in the research focus areas of the department
• Collaboration in the development and application of third-party funded projects
• Independent work on a doctoral project in the field of digitalization and its impact on the welfare state, interest groups
