School of Arts: ROUNDTABLE 2018

From July 12 to 15, 2018, the Kunsthochschule Kassel opens its workrooms and exhibition space for the grand final presentation of current works and offers visitors* insights and exchange during a diverse accompanying program. As a central event during the tour, a two-day symposium will be organized on July 13 and 14 on the theme AUTONOMY.

Autonomy is defined - "auto nomos" means self-legislation; non-autonomous is also defined in the inverse, but what does partial autonomy mean in concrete terms? And what is to be achieved with it - members of the art academy, members of the university, members of the ministry? These questions will be discussed during the symposium as well as different positions will be collected in order to contribute to the formation of opinion. More information about the symposium will follow soon!

The tour is the traditional annual exhibition of the students of the Kunsthochschule Kassel. Exemplary works are shown. The date is always at the end of the summer semester. The event has long since established itself as one of the cultural highlights of the region. The visit of the tour is free of charge and requires no registration.
