Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - at INCHER

The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 3 years (qualification position in accordance with § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 2 WissZeitVG; habilitation possibility).

Your tasks:

Coordination of the research focus "Governance and Organization" at INCHER-Kassel. This includes:

• self-directed research in the field of "Governance and Organization" with a focus on neo-institutionalism
• Independent preparation of third-party funding applications and scientific monitoring of projects in the research area "Governance and Organization"
• Teaching courses in the field of higher education research in the scope of 2 SWS

Your requirements:

• University degree in social sciences with very good results
• A social science doctorate completed with very good results
• in-depth knowledge of social science governance, organizational and higher education research
• good knowledge of qualitative and/or quantitative methods of empirical social research
• proven theoretical knowledge of neo-institutionalism (preferably the institutional logics approach)
• Proven and relevant teaching experience
• Communication and teamwork skills

Advantageous are

• an international orientation
• Proven ability to publish, including in international journals
• Experience with (international) projects
• Experience with the coordination of (research) teams
