Skilled agricultural worker in the experimental department at the Hessian State Domain Frankenhausen (EG 6 TV-H)

The position is limited for one year in accordance with § 14 para. 2 TzBfG.

Tasks:

• Assumption of agricultural work in field trials on the Hessian state domain Frankenhausen
• Co-supervision of experimental and demonstration facilities, primarily in the area of "soil, plants"
• Care and maintenance of machinery and experimental equipment
• Preparation and follow-up of the big field day on July 3-4, 2019
• Assisting with teaching events on the domain (field and stable days)
• Co-supervision of student projects and final theses

Prerequisites:

• agricultural vocational training and experience in handling and maintaining agricultural machinery
• Good knowledge of crop cultivation
• Experience in agricultural experimentation or willingness to familiarize yourself with it 
• Physical resilience as a prerequisite for the practical execution of experiments
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to work in an interdisciplinary manner
• Driving license B, BE and T
   

Advantageous are:

• Previous experience in organic farming
• Previous experience in experimental work

The person to be hired must never have been employed by the employer "Land Hessen"; this does not apply to a vocational training relationship.
