Research Assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the Department of Urban and Regional Sociology

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The employment is for the induction and replacement of an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until 27.01.2019 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought.

Tasks:

• Participation in the field of urban and regional sociology in research and teaching (3 SWS),
• Collaboration on a research project on housing, public space and common goods in socially mixed neighborhoods,
• Organizational activities such as organizing workshops/conferences, research and participation in publications.

Prerequisites:

• University degree in social sciences with at least a good grade
• sound experience in qualitative and quantitative social research or mixed methods
• good knowledge or research orientation in the field of urban development, housing and common goods, also internationally

Advantageous are:

• Experience in dealing with project-based study programs.
