Project Manager (EG 13 TV-H) - in the Center for Teacher Education is for the organization and realization of university-based teacher training and continuing education concepts at the University of Kassel.

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The employment is limited initially until 16.04.1019 according to § 14 Abs. 1 Satz 2 Nr.1 Teilzeit- und Befristungsgesetz (TzBfG).

Task profile:

The following tasks in particular are associated with the position in the project "Establishment of university-based teacher training":

• Development of new continuing education formats on the basis of a comprehensive analysis of offerings and needs; modeling in connection with impact research.
• Supervision of the interdepartmental contact point for teacher training and continuing education; promotion and expansion of intra- and extra-university cooperation between the institutions involved in teacher training and continuing education
• Bundling and presentation of teacher training events at the University of Kassel
• Administration/ coordination/ structuring and evaluation of the intended transfer of knowledge from educational research into practice
• Identification of further evidence- and research-based topics
• Further development of the evaluation procedure for the documentation of existing further and continuing education offers
• Active and sustainable public relations/participation in the external presentation of the University of Kassel, including cooperation with the relevant press organs, constant maintenance and updating of the relevant website

Requirements:

• completed academic university studies at the time of employment, preferably in the area of teacher training
• relevant experience in teacher training and continuing education
• profound knowledge in the field of evidence-based teacher training
• distinct ability for conceptual work and project-related documentation
• open-mindedness for coordinating and consulting activities in different subject cultures
• a high degree of organizational skills
• an independent and responsible way of working

Advantageous are:

• experience in researching teacher training measures
• good knowledge of quantitative and/or qualitative research methods, especially in the field of empirical educational research.
