Management of the scientific center "Center for Interdisciplinary Nanostructure Science and Technology (CINSaT)" (EG 13 TV-H)

The position is initially limited until 31.03.2020 (§ 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG; PhD possibility).

Your tasks:

• Preparation and follow-up of general meetings; implementation and control of resolutions; reporting
• Reporting; preparation and coordination of cooperative applications
• Coordination of the internet presence and a newsletter; preparation of data
• Identification of possible cooperative projects; professional profiling of the center
• Planning, preparation and implementation of events
• Public relations; processing of inquiries
• Resource planning (personnel, space and construction issues)
• Contact person and mediation of people interested in cooperation to suitable groups within the CINSaT
• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of technical physics
• Independent work on a research subfield in the fabrication, characterization and application of photonic diamond-based nanostructures with integrated color centers

Your requirements:

• scientific university degree (Master) in nanostructure science completed with very good results
• provable scientific background in one or more of the following areas of nanotechnology: diamond technology, nanostructuring, characterization methods for nanostructures
• Ability to think analytically; independent, thorough and cooperative working style
• confident appearance and negotiation skills
• knowledge of internal university procedures
• Ability to present the results achieved at the center in a popular manner
• Ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in the English language
