Artistic assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the Film and Moving Image department of the Visual Communication program

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG; artistic further qualification).

A dedicated individual is sought for the Film and Moving Image department of the Visual Communication program to supervise the specialized class in collaboration with the department chair.

The services include at the same time the possibility of further qualification.

Opportunity for own artistic qualification will be provided.

Tasks:

• artistic and creative collaboration and implementation of development and teaching projects in the field of film and moving image
• Appropriate services to prepare and support teaching in the areas of seminar, workshop, presentation, study tour and technical support are to be provided

Prerequisites:

• Completed artistic and creative university studies with a focus on film (directing, camera, editing, production),
• own artistic practice with presentations at international film festivals, television, theater and art exhibitions
• Work experience in production management and set design in the production of cinema, TV and advertising films and in theater
• Knowledge of the different recording techniques image and sound in moving image media (analog and digital)
• experience in teaching
• good language skills in English
• good networking in the regional and national film industry
• Self-dependent work and initiative are very important
