On the way to the preparatory service - What or who helps? We! - Information event for prospective teachers

On November 20, 2018, the GEW, in cooperation with the ZLB of the University of Kassel, is once again offering an information event on the preparatory service at schools.

4 to 6 p.m., University of Kassel on the HoPla campus, room 1004 in Georg-Forster-Str. 4 (seminar building), 1st floor

The first state examination of the teacher training course is followed in Hesse by the preparatory service (Referendariat in other federal states), which leads to the second state examination and qualifies you to teach at schools.
"No places, work stress, assessment horror" - there are many myths surrounding the preparatory service in Hesse. This event will dispel these myths.

- How do I get into the preparatory service? What do I need to bear in mind? Which subjects and which teaching profession have which opportunities in Hesse?
- How do I get to the school of my choice?
- What can I expect during my traineeship? What do I have to achieve? How much do I earn?
- How good are my chances of being hired after the second state examination? What about the much-discussed shortage of teachers?
