Research assistant (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of solar and systems engineering

Part-time with 85.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 12 months (§ 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Your tasks

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of solar and systems engineering
• Independent work on a research sub-area in the field of district heating
• Collaboration in experimental and theoretical research projects with a focus on solar thermal system investigations
• Support of scientific and practical training as well as university self-administration

Your requirements:

• University degree in engineering with very good results,
  ideally with a focus on renewable energies
• Advanced knowledge in the field of solar thermal energy, in particular in the areas of heat network design, energy storage, heat pumps, refrigeration technology and building services engineering
• In-depth knowledge of carrying out extensive economic optimization calculations and complex energy system simulations

An advantage are
