Research associate (EG 13 TV-H) - in the field of cell biology

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 2 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility for doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Services in research and teaching in the field of
• production of Dictyostelium mutants and fusion proteins to characterize their function in lipid metabolism
• Physiological analysis using qualitative and quantitative techniques.

Prerequisites:

• Completed scientific university studies in biology or related subjects with diploma or master degree.
• knowledge of molecular biological methods, lipid analysis, microscopic techniques as well as experience in cell culture, preferably with Dictyostelium
• Intention to do a doctorate and corresponding commitment
