Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Services in research and teaching in the field of art education.
• Independent work on a research subfield in the field of art education.
• Collaboration in art pedagogical development projects
• Organizational support of teaching operations.

Requirements:

• A teaching degree for high schools in the subject of art completed with above-average success
• or a university degree in art education or a related subject with above-average results, whereby a special interest in questions of aesthetic education must be proven.
• If hired for habilitation: a completed doctorate as well as, if possible, a 2nd state examination in teaching at a Gymnasium in the subject of art
• Ability to work independently
• High level of communication skills
• Expertise in the processing and presentation of research results

Advantageous are: In-depth knowledge of art didactic concepts as well as an orientation in philosophical-aesthetic discourse.
