Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of economics of urban and regional development

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The employment is for the induction and replacement of an employee during the maternity protection period and is initially limited until 03.09.2019 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG). An extension for the duration of any parental leave will be sought.

Tasks:

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of economics of urban and regional development
• Independent work on a research area in the field of sustainable urban and regional development

Requirements:

• Academic degree with at least good grades in spatial planning, urban and regional planning, economic geography or related subjects
• Confident handling of quantitative and qualitative methods
• In-depth knowledge of participatory communication and moderation methods
• Independent, thorough and cooperative way of working
• Very good written and spoken communication skills in German and English

Advantageous are

• Experience in teaching and research 
• Experience in practical fields of urban and regional development
