Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Hydraulic Engineering and Water Management

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility for doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the department of hydraulic engineering and water resources management; independent work on the research subfield of HN modeling; support of the department in the area of teaching; collaboration in working groups, committees and/or self-governing institutions of the department.

Prerequisites:

Completed academic university studies in civil/environmental engineering with a focus on hydraulic engineering and water resources management. In-depth knowledge in HN-modeling (especially 2D-HN resp. 3D-HN-modeling), knowledge in the application of geoinformation systems.
