2 Research Assistants (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Vocational and Business Education and in the Department of Youth and Childhood Law

Part-time at 66.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The positions are initially and subject to funding approval limited until April 30, 2022 within the project "Normality Assumptions on Work and Occupation" (funded by the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs) (§ 2 para. 1 WissZeitVG). The project investigates attitudes towards work and occupation among young people in the transition from school to work, which is supported by the welfare state, as well as employees in the corresponding authorities. The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

Scientific collaboration in the above-mentioned project.

Requirements:

• A good to very good university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in vocational education, social work or another social science, or a degree in law with at least satisfactory results (state examination).
• Knowledge of the research topics transition to work and/or social attitudes and/or sociology of law and/or research on legal facts
• For the legal side: knowledge of social law

Advantageous are:

• Knowledge/experience in methods of empirical social research
• Prior knowledge of the legal basis of the SGB
• Thorough and independent working style
• A high degree of organizational skills
• Experience in dealing with actors from different fields of practice
