Research Assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Experimental Physics III

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to three years with the possibility of extension for a further two years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of Experimental Physics III
• Independent work on a research sub-area in femtosecond laser material processing

Requirements:

• University degree in Master's Physics with a focus on experimental/applied physics completed with very good to good results
• Experimental experience in the use of femtosecond technologies, in particular non-linear spectroscopy and microscopy techniques as well as laser cell surgery.
• Knowledge in the setup and handling of physical high technology

Advantageous are:

• Thorough and independent working methods
• A high degree of self-motivation and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team
