  • Design, construction and setup of a VLS spectrometer
  • Characterization and use of the assembled spectrometer
  • Data evaluation using modern statistical analysis methods
  • Simulation of physical processes
  • Preparation of physical results
  • Independent preparation of literature
  • Presentation at international conferences

 

Your requirements:

  • Completed scientific university degree in physics (Master's or state examination)
  • Experience with experiments at large research facilities
  • Experience with photon spectrometers (XUV)
  • Experience with CAD - Inventor
  • Experience in setup and characterization of photon or electron detection systems
  • Experience in analyzing measurement data
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience in atomic and molecular physics or physics of highly charged ions, experience in setup and characterization of photon spectrometers, experience in presenting physics results in English and German, knowledge of Python language is desirable

 

Advantageous are:

  • Experience in the preparation of scientific publications
  • Numerous presentations at international conferences
