Project employee (m/f/d), up to EG 13 TV-H - in the Teaching Service Center

Part-time with 75.00 percent of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 31.01.2021 (§ 14 para. 1 sentence 2 no. 1 TzBfG).

The University of Kassel aims to strengthen the didactic quality of digitalized academic teaching. Teachers are to be supported in the development and use of digital offerings.

The University of Kassel is funded by the state of Hesse in the above-mentioned project. The Hessian universities aim to provide all students with access to quality-assured digital teaching content and digitally supported teaching and learning formats. To this end, the offerings of the participating universities are to be further developed and strengthened and networked through a joint service facility.

Tasks:

• Technical and didactic advice as well as concrete practical support for teachers and students in the production of educational videos and animations, also as coursework and examinations
• Development of relevant handouts and sample formats
• Description of good practice examples
• Implementation of specific teaching video projects
• Offering media skills workshops for students
• Collaboration in internal and external project communication and reporting

Prerequisites:

• Completed academic university degree or completed university degree in digital media, film or with a didactic focus
• Experience in the creation of educational videos

Advantageous are:

• High level of communication and social skills

• Willingness to perform
• Enjoy working in a team
