Workshop: Creating scientific papers with Microsoft Word

This workshop provides you with the tools for writing complex scientific papers. At the end of the course, each participant will have created a personal Word template that can be used for their own term paper or thesis.

You should have a basic knowledge of Word. The exercises will be held in Word 2016 (or Word Mac). Explanations and assistance for Word 2013 and older may be provided on a case-by-case basis. Open Office, light or online variants of the software cannot be used in this course. In case you use "Word" with a different language setting, we recommend to install the German language package beforehand.

Please bring your own computer with Word 2016 installed to this course.

Word 2016 (Microsoft Office Professional) can be obtained free of charge from theITS website https://www.uni-kassel.de/its-handbuch/daten-dienste/softwarecampuslizenzen/microsoft-office.html.
