This is a fixed term-position ending June 30st, 2022 as it is part of the research project "ZumWert - Zusammenhang zwischen umweltrelevantem Verhalten und der Entwicklung von Werten und Norms - Interaction Between Environmentally Relevant Behavior and the Evolution of Values and Norms" (§ 65 HHG in conjunction with § 2 (1) WissZeitVG). It includes the opportunity to work on a PhD project.

 

Tasks:

  • Research and teaching assistance in the field of the research group "Foundations of Law, Private Law and Law and Economics", in particular and within the aforementioned research project
  • Formal modeling of the process of norm internalization, based on methods of evolutionary game theory
  • Comparison of game theoretic and agent-based modeling of such processes
  • Collaboration with empirically and psychologically oriented part of the project

 

Requirements:

  • Master degree in economics with good or very good grades or in legal studies with equivalent grades or in a similar field (by the time the position starts)
  • Good knowledge of oral and written English and German
  • Good or very good knowledge of math is mandatory

  • Experiences in mathematical modeling
