Second Spikeball Tournament of the "Roundnet Raccoons

The trend sport "Spikeball" is booming all over Germany, but especially at the university sports.  

In 2018, the trend sport found its way to the AHS in Kassel and managed to inspire a group of students within a very short time, who practice the new sport with a lot of commitment and joy. Next Saturday, on 01.06. the Raccoons want to compete in their second official "Mixed" tournament against teams from Marburg, Giessen and Frankfurt. Already last year a few successful rounds could be played.

You don't know Spikeball yet? Spikeball is played two against two on a round net that stands on the ground. It can be played indoors, outdoors, in the sand or on the grass. The rules are similar to beach volleyball.
If volleyball and table tennis had a baby, spikeball would be the result.

The event takes place in a summery atmosphere on the lawn at the boathouse of the University of Kassel. 24 teams play for victory in fast-paced rallies with the little yellow ball. Spectators and fans of this young sport are very welcome.

1 ball - waiting to be served to the opponent
0 limits - a 360 degree sport, there are no halves of the game )
