Teacher as Pedagogical Assistant (m/f/d), A13/A14 - in the Institute of Music

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 01/31/2021.

Duties:

Organization and implementation of school internships (Schulpraktische Studien; Blockpraktikum) as well as the implementation of practice-oriented courses for students of the subject music for the secondary level I and II.

Prerequisites:

Study of the subject music (teaching profession for grammar schools or for secondary schools), second state examination and at least three years of school practice after the second state examination. Experience as a contact teacher or mentor is desired.

The secondment/partial secondment as a pedagogical assistant from the school service is initially for a probationary year and can be extended for up to 4 additional years if the candidate proves his/her worth. According to the Ordinance on the Scope of Teaching Obligations of Academic and Artistic Staff at the Universities of the Land (Teaching Obligations Ordinance), the standard teaching obligation is 9 teaching hours for almost exclusive teaching activities and 7 teaching hours for predominant teaching activities.
