Lecture: Reactions to Helmut Kentler's stance on pedosexuality yesterday and today

The well-known psychologist and sex educator Helmut Kentler (1928-2008) campaigned for many years for the removal of taboos and the legalization of (allegedly) non-violent sexual contact between children, adolescents and adults. The lecture will first present several examples of how and with what arguments Kentler advocated for this. Subsequently, the focus will be on the reactions to his stance on pedosexuality. For example, how did the public and the professional community deal with it during Kentler's lifetime, and what were the reactions after his death? With Dr. Teresa Nentwig of the Institute for the Study of Democracy at the Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
