Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 2 years to conduct third-party funded scientific accompanying research on the evaluation of the placement concept of an International Production School (IPS) (§ 2 Abs. 2 WissZeitVG).

 

Tasks:

Conception and implementation of a scientific accompanying research to determine and evaluate factors of effect regarding the connection of productive work and vocational language teaching:

  • Planning, implementation, processing and evaluation of observations in the subject lessons, in the language lessons and in the workshop work.
  • Planning, implementation and evaluation of written and oral surveys (individual and group interviews, if necessary in French and English) of participants, teachers and instructors of the IPS
  • Conducting and evaluating language level surveys
  • Documentation of the project (surveys, protocols, reports).

 

Prerequisites:

  • academic university degree in the field of "German as a foreign and second language".
  • very good/native German language skills, good to very good English and French language skills
  • very good computer skills (Microsoft Office)
