The department is expected to take a leading role in one of the CINSaT (Center for Interdisciplinary Nanostructure Science and Technology) thematic areas - biosensing, electron dynamics of chiral structures, photonics, three-dimensional nanostructures - and participate in the relevant collaborative initiatives of the department.
A high level of commitment to teaching, evidence of successful acquisition of competitive external funding, an active publication record in international journals, and international research experience are required. The subject of physical chemistry is to be represented in its entire breadth in the bachelor's and master's degree programs in nanostructure science and in the teacher training programs in chemistry, and participates in service tasks in other degree programs.
