Scientific employee (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of cell biology

Part-time with half of the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 65 HHG in connection with § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of doctoral studies is given.

Tasks:

• Scientific collaboration in research and teaching in the field of cell biology.
• Independent work on a research subfield in the lipid metabolism of Dictyostelium.
• Production of mutants and localization of fusion proteins.
• Physiological analysis using qualitative and quantitative methods.

Prerequisites:

• With very good to good results completed scientific university studies in biology or related subjects.
• Doctoral intention and appropriate commitment.

Advantages are:

• Knowledge of molecular biology methods, microscopic techniques, lipid analysis.
• Experience in cell culture, preferably with Dictyostelium.
• Thorough and independent work habits.
• High level of organizational skills.
