Guest at the Rectorate #27 with Echo Can Luo

 
Entitled "Chocho Studio reshaping the face", Echo Can Luo will be exhibiting at the Rectorate of the Kunsthochschule Kassel on 10/22/19, at 6:30pm.
 
More and more young people are using algorithms to determine if their face is attractive. But what they really want is the perfect body and face without the help of social media filters to capture the perfect selfie from all angles instantly and without software application. Their reasoning for plastic surgery is increasingly becoming an idealized self-image. Chocho Studio uses 3D scanning technologies to reshape the face, with the goal of creating the perfect Instagrammable face, thereby obtaining a higher beauty score.
 
Echo Can Luo studied New Media at the Kassel University of the Arts. Her research deals with algorithms bias of 3D modeling, database and the actions of artificial intelligences. Her works have been shown in various exhibitions at home and abroad.
           
The exhibition is free of charge and open to all interested parties.
