Science Night - first-hand knowledge

In different formats, a total of 15 young scientists will present their research projects. The stage program offers a mix of exciting presentations and video contributions. The topics are as diverse as the young scientists themselves and range from the mediation of haptic senses in online shopping to the question of East and West German differences in the careers of PhDs to the duel between artificial intelligence (AI) and humans. In addition, the Science Quiz challenges visitors to guess along and explains how much (un)truth there is in some myths. Afterwards, visitors can go exploring themselves and ask the young scientists about their research work along the discovery trail, take part in hands-on activities and get to know initiatives from Kassel that build a bridge between science and society. At Science Bridge e.V., for example, "DNA to go" can be produced, and with CoLab, visitors have the opportunity to get to know a new initiative from Kassel that offers citizens a space for their own experiments. Everyone who enjoys science and is interested in current research at the University of Kassel is cordially invited.
