Research assistant (m/f/d), up to EG 13 TV-H - in the field of elementary school pedagogy

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The employment is to replace an employee during parental leave within the framework of the PRONET² sub-project P18: "Sponsorship projects and engagement promotion in inclusive teacher education" and is limited until 31.01.2021 (§§ 40 No. 8, 30 TV-H in conjunction with § 21 BEEG).

There is the possibility to combine engagement, teaching and scientific work. In the project you would accompany, student teachers take on sponsorships for children in special circumstances.

Tasks:

• Continuation and further development of the sponsorship projects in teacher education ("Project K" and "Project KKN")
• Conception and realization of a teacher training in the field of service-learning
• Promotion of diversity competence, skills for multi-professional cooperation and an inclusive attitude in mentoring projects.
• Analysis of student texts on the evaluation of competence development
• University teaching to the extent of 2 SWS.
• The possibility of scientific qualification is given.

Requirements:

• A very good university degree, preferably a teaching degree, sociological, psychological or socio-pedagogical studies.
• teaching experience and project experience
• knowledge of qualitative research methods and evaluation procedures (especially Qualitative Content Analysis with MAXQDA)
• an independent, responsible way of working
• very good cooperation skills

Advantageous are:

• knowledge in case-analytical methods
• knowledge of ethnographic research strategies 

• confident handling of statistical software or a high willingness to quickly learn the application of complex statistical procedures
• good analytical skills
• knowledge of the research portal "Converis
