Teacher for special tasks (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the fields of Ancient and Medieval History

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited until 28.02.2021 (§ 2 Abs. 1 WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

• The post holder is expected to provide academic services in the field of teaching in the two epochs of Ancient and Medieval History to the extent of 7 semester hours per week.
• He/she should also participate in research tasks and take on other tasks in the administration and organization of the two subject areas. The tasks relate to the implementation and supervision of courses in all degree programs in History as well as student advising and study organization in Ancient and Medieval History.
• The opportunity for further academic qualification is given.

Prerequisites:

• Completed academic university degree in the subject of history
• Teaching experience in Ancient and/or Medieval History

Advantageous are:

• Research experience and an above-average doctorate in ancient or medieval history
