Research assistant (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the field of German Medieval Studies

Part-time with half the regular working hours of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited to 3 years with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 para. 1 sentence 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

Tasks:

• Academic collaboration in research and teaching in the field of German Medieval Studies
• Independent work on a research sub-field in German Medieval Studies, preferably in one of the following key areas: Literature and Culture of the High Middle Ages, Early Modern Literature (1450-1600), Medieval Reception, Middle Ages and School, Gender Studies, Human Animal Studies

Prerequisites:

• Academic university degree in German Medieval Studies completed with good to very good results. The required degree must be available by the recruitment date at the latest.
