Research Associate (m/f/d), EG 13 TV-H - in the Department of Political System of the FRG - Statehood in Transition

Part-time with half of the regular working time of a full-time employee. The position is initially limited for 3 years with the possibility of extension for another 2 years (qualification position according to § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 1 WissZeitVG). The possibility of a doctorate is given.

We are looking for a social scientist with a focus on political science.

Tasks:

• Scientific cooperation in research and teaching in the field of Political System of the FRG - Statehood in Transition.
• Services for internal and external activities of the department, research and teaching
• In particular, support of the activities in the main research areas of the department
• Collaboration in the development and application of externally funded projects
• Independent work on a doctoral project in one of the main research areas of the department

Requirements:

• Excellent academic university degree (Diplom, Magister, Master, Staatsexamen) in political science or in social sciences with a focus on political science. The required degree must be received by the hiring date at the latest.
• Doctoral project in the area of specialization of the department.

Advantageous are:

• Experience in scientific project work and teaching
