W 1 Qualification Professorship (m/f/d) with development commitment for "Educational Science with a focus on inclusion and school development".

In accordance with § 64 para. 3 of the Hessian Higher Education Act, temporary for a period of six years. After a positive tenure evaluation, the permanent transfer of a W 2 professorship will take place.

This tenure-track professorship is funded by the Federal-Länder Program for the Promotion of Young Scientists.

The professorship is to represent topics of school development with special consideration of inclusive pedagogical issues in research and teaching. Research will focus on the design of school change processes at the various levels of the educational system in the context of the implementation of inclusive education. The professorship will be responsible for teaching tasks primarily in the educational and social science core curriculum of the teacher training programs (elementary school, secondary school, high school, vocational and business education) in the basic and specialization module "Co-designing and Developing Schools and Educational Institutions". The future position holder should have didactic competencies as well as teaching experience and be able to present scientific publications in the subject area of the advertisement. Experience in the acquisition of third-party funds is desirable.

The position holder should support the cross-sectional model of inclusive teacher education currently implemented at the University of Kassel within the educational and social science core curriculum in cooperation with the subject didactics. Participation in the tasks of academic self-administration as well as the acquisition of third-party funded research projects are expected of him/her. Participation in the further development of the Institute of Educational Science's Funding Diagnostic Workshop as well as involvement in research networks at the University of Kassel (e.g., ZELL and FoSS) are desired.
