Brown-bag lunch from INCHER-Kassel: Teaching research in (sociological) university research

Teaching is the poor relation of university research, according to the thesis of the lecture. When teaching is considered, it is in connection with governance, quality assurance or academic freedom. This is not least due to the fact that the study of teaching, i.e. the interaction in the seminar room, is left to university didactics. As a result, there is often too little focus on structural and social aspects, as considered by sociological higher education research. Initial approaches and research findings on how this research desideratum can be closed will be discussed in the brown-back.
