Premiere of the documentary film on the Grimm Poetics Professorship on 19.11

The film was made under the direction of Thomas Henke on the occasion of Terézia Mora's Grimm Poetics Professorship in 2021. The media-aesthetically experimental film emerged largely from video conference recordings of a reading as well as interviews by and about Terézia Mora. These 'pandemic' video telephony formats were cinematically edited, visually embedded in the author's (everyday) context and dialogically assembled.

The result is a 79-minute film about Terézia Mora, who herself reads in particular from the manuscript of her diary and workbook "Fleckenverlauf," published by Luchterhand in September 2021. The reading is continuously interrupted and commented on in the film by statements from various people. It is thus neither a conventional reading nor a film portrait in the traditional sense.

The Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival takes place annually over six days in mid-November. It is organized by Filmladen Kassel. The heart of the festival is the film program with short as well as long documentaries and artistic-experimental productions. Approximately 250 films will be screened over the six days of the festival.
