Through your studies with the toolbox

The ICDD Graduate School for Socio-Ecological Research at the University of Kassel has developed a toolbox for students and doctoral candidates with helpful tips. It will be presented online on April 12.

The International Center of Development and Decent Work (ICDD) at the University of Kassel calls its new e-learning course for science enthusiasts "PhD Toolbox". Why Toolbox? Quite simply, because advanced students and PhD students can choose a topic according to their interests and study needs: From the right motivation for doing a PhD, to methods, to life after the PhD.

The comprehensive, English-language toolbox covers a wide range of topics and can also be useful for bachelor's and master's students with its practical tips and teaching of scientific basics.

The course is the result of joint efforts of former and current PhD students, e-learning experts, video makers, and scholars from the ICDD network. It includes ten chapters with contributions from over 20 international experts.

The Toolbox will be presented online on Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 11 am to 12 pm.
