The Physics Colloquium is the central event of the Institute of Physics. The Physics Colloquium is a public event and addresses university professors, research assistants, PhD students, diploma students, as well as students of physics and last but not least all those interested in physics. Here, as a rule, external scientists report on their field of research. In the course of time, the regular visitors thus receive a constantly updated overview of the state of physics in all its subfields, both in Germany and worldwide.
