Students, staff and passers-by can now use solar energy directly on the University of Kassel campus: With two solar benches donated by SMA Solar Technology AG, it is now possible to charge the batteries of cell phones and tablets free of charge and in an environmentally friendly way. The modern benches were installed in time for the campus festival and have now been ceremoniously put into operation.
