Workshop "Reimagining skating - the image of skateboarding"

Join us for a thought-provoking workshop led by Diana Freihöffer, Bachelor of Sociology, and Valentina Voß, Master of Visual Communication. From 10:00 to 11:00, we will challenge the traditional imagery of skateboarding and explore new ways to make the sport inclusive for FLINTA (Female, Lesbian, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans, and Agender) individuals. Through discussion and creativity, we'll reimagine a more diverse and welcoming skateboarding culture. Let's break boundaries and build a community where everyone can ride free.

The workshop will be held in English.

The workshop is part of the project "Roll around the World", a transformative exchange of German skaters in South Africa and Germany. This deals with SDG 5, one of the 17 European Sustainable Development Goals "Gender Equality" and encourages change in skateboarding and beyond. This meeting is financed by Engagement Global with funds from the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and donations.
