At the Wilhelmshöhe campus location (Faculty of Electrical Engineering/Computer Science), the student working group Earth Tech 16 has been committed to improving biodiversity and the quality of life since the beginning of this year. The aim is to make the inner courtyard greener, more colorful and livelier. Small raised beds and planters have already been installed and planting began in September. To save resources, the students have also built a practical irrigation system using just two clay pots and some beeswax. More plants will be added next spring and a flowering meadow is also planned. Perhaps wild bees will then also nest in the new insect hotels that have been hung up by then.
