At the Wilhelmshöhe campus (Department of Electrical Engineering/Informatics), the student working group Earth Tech 16 has been working since the beginning of this year for more biodiversity and quality of stay. The inner courtyard is to become greener, more colorful and livelier. Small raised beds and planters have already been installed and planting began in September. In addition, to save resources, the students built a practical irrigation system using only two clay pots and some beeswax. Next spring, more plants will be added and a flowering meadow is also planned. Perhaps wild bees will then also nest in the insect hotels that have been newly hung up by then.
